Stratford Festival

Organizational Nature

The Stratford Festival is one of Canada’s finest  attractions in presenting world class Shakespearen theatre.  The Festival has traditionally operated the accommodation service in Stratford, Ontario.

The Festival required a central reservation system which could be deployed via multiple distribution channels with different cosmetic skins, surcharges, and functional requirements.

When fully deployed the system will be deployed on the following web sites: Stratford Festival, Stratford Tourism Alliance, Stratford Bed & Breakfast Association, and the individual operators’ web sites.

In addition, Meridian will work with the development team of the Festival in building a full interface into their Tessitura ticketing system so that consumers can create Festival Ticket packages and allow one stop shopping.

Project Scale

Currently there are approximately 30 properties participating in the direct inventory program. 

Unique Customization for this Project

The system was re-skinned according to the host web site and allows for the hotels and B&B’s to load their own custom packages for re-sale.

Project Timeline

Meridian completed the operational launch of this project in approximately 60 days between the delivery of graphical skins by their agency and the launch date.
